Philos Adelphos Dikaios - "Love of Humanity, and Justice For All"
The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign chapter of Phi Alpha Delta is a co-ed professional fraternity aiming to provide strong bonds between students and teachers of the law. Phi Alpha Delta is the largest and oldest pre-law fraternity in the world. We welcome any and all majors!
History
The National Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta has over 330,000 members. Founded in 1902, Phi Alpha Delta was the first to open membership to all genders, races, creeds, and national origins.
The UIUC chapter of Phi Alpha Delta was founded in 2020. We offer a variety of resources, including LSAT prep, LinkedIn and resume workshops, and provide law admissions advice.

Declaration of Purpose
The purpose of this Fraternity shall be to form a strong bond uniting students and teachers of the law with members of the Bench and Bar in a fraternal fellowship designed to advance the ideals of liberty and equal justice under law; to stimulate excellence in scholarship; to inspire the virtues of compassion and courage; to foster integrity and professional competence; to promote the welfare of its members; and to encourage their moral, intellectual, and cultural advancement; so that each member may enjoy a lifetime of honorable professional and public service.
Distinguished Alumni
Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International has hundreds of prominent members that include U.S. Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, Senators, Congressmen, Governors, and others. ​ Approximately one out of six attorneys is a member of Phi Alpha Delta.
